Green4Green.org - U.S. consumers demanding sustainable business practices is a call for consumer action, asking consumers to demand sustainable production and business practices from corporations sustained by their dollars.

U.S.-based companies account for the largest amount of pollutants released into the environment. The majority of products and services purchased or paid for by U.S. citizens are produced by industries that ignore sustainable business practices. This irresponsible business behavior is a direct result of consumers' inaction.

Green4Green.org seeks to change the status quo by empowering consumers to take action, promoting sustainable business practices that will result in a greener planet -- one that nourishes a healthier population.

Currently most U.S.-based companies work tirelessly to increase their profit while decreasing your chances for fresh air, fresh water and clean environment. In doing so, these companies increase your chances for developing cancer, lung diseases and a slew of other life-threatening conditions.

Green4Green.org wishes to help consumers realize that they (not your government) possess the most powerful weapon in the fight for a healthier planet. That weapon is your hard-earned dollars. While humans need fresh water, clean air and healthy food to sustain themselves, the survival of corporations depends on the uninterrupted intake of consumers' cash.

Green4Green.org suggests a conditional relationship between producers and consumers. Corporations and service-providers that use consumers dollars to pollute our environment will see a decrease in revenue from environmentally concious consumers. Green business will be rewarded with an increased cashflow from educated consumers.

By withholding their hard-earned money, consumers will seek to reform or eliminate companies that threaten their well-being.
